Omaha/NDSU Baseball series altered

(Omaha) — Due to impending weather on Sunday, the schedule for this weekend’s Omaha baseball series with North Dakota State has been altered.

The teams will now play two doubleheaders on both Friday and Saturday.  The start time for both doubleheaders is set for Noon.

The Mavericks (20-13, 5-3) return home from a seven-game road swing and are winners of their last four.  NDSU (12-17, 3-7) is on a three-game winning streak after knocking off Western Illinois twice and defeating Dakota Wesleyan.  Omaha swept a doubleheader from the Bison on April 12th in Fargo by scores of 2-0 (10 inn.) and 10-0.

MavRadio will broadcast all four games of the weekend series.  Paul Dobler and Ryan Matheny will have the call from the Ballpark at Boys Town.  Pregame coverage begins at 11:50 AM on Mavradio.fm, 90.7 HD-2, or on your smartphone by downloading the Tune-In App.
