Coming off a decisive 3-0 sweep against South Dakota State, the Mavericks looked to pick up right where they left off over the weekend traveling north to play North Dakota and North Dakota State. The Mavericks dominated the weekend with back-to-back sweeps, outscoring their opponents 150 – 96. The pair of wins bumped the Mavericks into fourth place in the Summit League standings.

In set number two, the Mavericks continued their strong attack behind the hand of Sadie Limback, tallying 5 of the Mavericks’ first 9 points in the set. Two 4-0 runs for the Mavericks quickly put the Golden Eagles in a hole they struggled to find their way out of the rest of the match. In the end, Omaha took set two in dominant fashion 25-15.

Looking to finish the match, the Mavericks jumped out to an early 10-3 lead in set three. However, the Golden Eagles continued to battle until a 4-0 run by Omaha put the Mavericks within two points of ending the match. Back to back kills by Isabella Sade put the Golden Eagles away by a score of 25-16.
