2021 Eric Sevareid Awards

(OMAHA, Neb.)- University of Nebraska at Omaha, School of Communication students, who participate in MavRadio.FM, earned 10 Midwest Broadcast Journalists Association Eric Sevareid awards at the 2021 Midwest Journalism Conference. The conference, typically held in Minneapolis, was virtual again this year as a response to protect the health and wellness of our communities.

Six states make up the regional conference including: Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin.  This year’s award winners were announced hourly on MBJA’s Facebook page. The full list can be found on midwestjournalism.com. The following is a list of UNO award winners:
