Haunted Heartland 2018

It’s back for its sixth year. MavRadio.FM presents Haunted Heartland where investigative journalists uncover some of Omaha’s untold secrets. This year, we travel to the “Seven Sisters Road” near Nebraska City to see the spirits of seven young women haunt those who criss-cross the gravel roads along Nebraska’s cornfields. Then, we remember the Halloween that didn’t happen in 1997. Twenty-one years later, the broken branches may have grown back but the memory is etched into the minds of those who lived through deathly 11-day blizzard. What about the haunting of the Pike house near UNO’s campus? Hear from the home’s owner and find out why some men won’t stay there after the clock strikes twelve. Hosts Anna Rodriguez and Harrison Popp take you on the three-hour journey of old-fashioned storytelling while our team of reporters gather across the heartland to unravel the mysterious of our campus, city and our heartland. Be a part of original programming from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. this Halloween. You can also follow us on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
