OMAHA, Neb.- A tradition that began 49 years ago as part of the 70’s counterculture has become a world-wide celebration of what now is seen as a focus on the environment rather than anti-war resistance. April 22 marks the annual Earth Day in which 192 countries band together to provoke change in climate policy. In this tradition, the reporters with MavRadio.FM explore ways students can make our own community a sustainable environment that protects all living things.
